Autol's Automatic Bearing Grease Change Technology of Lubrication
How many
failures to greased bearings are resulted from bad lubrication? The statistics
show that, 20% failures are arising from aged lubricant, 15% from insufficient
lubrication, 20% from improper lubricant. Additionally, 20% failures are due to
solid contaminant and 5% to liquid contaminant. Therefore, the failure to
greased bearing are mainly because of lubricant.

change technology. He said that the grease would be of saponification,
deterioration, hardening, causing new grease failing to be filled freely,
resulting in adverse influence on lubrication effect, if the waste grease
cannot be discharged in time. Bad bearing lubrication will cause many adverse
consequences. As a worse case, the temperature rise will be significant, with
bearing damaged, resulting in major accident even fire. Then, how can the waste
grease be removed and replaced?
For the
operating principle of automatic grease change technology, the equipment's
waste grease collection system is used with centralized lubrication system,
which will periodically and cyclically operate for several minutes for some
times. The waste grease collection system sucks waste grease from the bearing
approximately equaled to the new grease filled into the bearing by the
centralized lubrication system.
Autol's
centralized lubrication system includes single-line, double-line, progressive
and multi-line centralized lubrication systems. And, the single-line
centralized lubrication system is designed with in-parallel structure,
featuring advantages such as easy expansion, not clogged, convenient
maintenance, low costs of maintenance, etc. Long-distance transmission may be
realized with boosting pressure technology, with high reliability. Incorporated
with progressive distributor, it may form a mixing lubrication system.
Therefore, the
waste grease with wear particles may be removed from the bearing inner chamber
with automatic grease change technology, reducing bearing friction, good to
bearing heat dissipation, eliminating pressure of bearing inner chamber, and
ensuring bearing successfully filled with new grease. Used with centralized
lubrication system, the bearing inner chamber can always be kept with proper
amount of grease, very good to grease film forming and holding. As a result,
the bearing life will be significantly prolonged. It is of great significance
to continuously operating large bearings.
